Fire Trucks

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, ‘My refuge and my fortress my God, in whom I trust.’

– Psalm 91:1-2 (ESV)

In the early months of 2023, as the conflict in Ukraine intensified, the need for emergency services escalated dramatically. Among the many critical shortages, the lack of functional firetrucks became a dire issue, especially as infrastructure was damaged and fires from military actions became more frequent. The story of how firetrucks were donated to Ukraine for disaster relief unfolded across several countries, showcasing international solidarity and the spirit of humanitarian aid. – Psalm 91:1-2 (ESV)In the early months of 2023, as the conflict in Ukraine intensified, the need for emergency services escalated dramatically. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

Humanitarian Aid

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

- Matthew 25:35-36, 40 (ESV)

Women's Ministry

For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

-Isaiah 54:10 (ESV)

The “Protected” relief fund, established by the Women’s Ministry of the Ukrainian Baptist Churches Association in the USA, supports Ukrainian women who have lost their husbands or sons during the devastating war in Ukraine. We assist the wives of volunteers who fought courageously for their homeland’s freedom, not just military wives. Over 60,000 families still await news of missing loved ones, while more than 70,000 families mourn husbands and sons lost in the conflict. These shattered families receive no financial support from the Ukrainian government under current law.

Consider Andrii Korniichuk, a former youth pastor in Ukraine—a devoted servant of God, loving husband, and father. His wife Tatiana now faces life alone with their one-year-old daughter. Or Olena, now raising three children by herself after her 30-year-old husband Illiya died fighting for Ukraine. Two of her children have special needs requiring frequent medical attention and specialized care. Olena confronts an overwhelming future managing her children’s needs without her husband’s support.

Our fund is dedicated to helping families like these. Thousands of women and children live in despair, struggling to find hope and strength to continue. We’re here to provide both practical assistance and renewed hope.

Every two months, we deliver food packages, Christian literature, and other necessities to 50 supported families. We also provide financial assistance for medical expenses, covering portions of healthcare costs. We cannot remain inactive—our mission is to remind these families that God remains with them, and we serve as His hands in their devastated world.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
